The use of Sodium acetate
Jan 12, 2024Sodium Acetate is colorless and odorless crystals that can be weathered and flammable in the air. Soluble in water and ether, slightly soluble in ethanol. The melting point of sodium acetate trihydrate is 58 ℃, the relative density is 1.45, and the spontaneous ignition point is 607.2 ℃. Remove 3 molecules of water at 123 ℃. The melting point of anhydrous sodium acetate is 324 ℃, and the relative density is 1.528.
Application
1.Used as an esterification agent for organic synthesis, as well as in many fields such as photography pharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, printing and dyeing mordants, buffering agents, chemical reagents, meat preservation, pigments, tanning, etc. It can be used to produce various chemical products, such as furan acrylic acid, acetate, and chloroacetic acid. As a buffering agent for seasoning, this product can alleviate unpleasant odors and prevent discoloration, and has a certain anti mold effect. It can also be used as sour agent for sauce, pickled Chinese cabbage, mayonnaise, fish cake, sausage, bread, sticky cake, etc. Mix with methyl cellulose, phosphate, etc. to improve the preservation of sausages, bread, sticky cakes, etc.
2.Used as a common analytical reagent, mordant, buffer, and can also be used for dye synthesis and film processing
3.Used in medicine, printing and dyeing, and organic synthesis
4.Used as a mordant and buffer, as well as in the dye and pharmaceutical industries
5.Used for ethanol precipitation of DNA, sodium acetate, also known as NaAc or sodium acetate
6.Used in printing and dyeing, medicine, photography, etc., as well as esterification agents and preservatives.
