Description

Calcium acetate is an acetate of calcium, a white to brown or gray crystal with a special odor. The commonly used name for calcium acetate is calcium acetate. Anhydrous calcium acetate has excellent moisture absorption, so common calcium acetate exists in the form of monohydrate (Ca (CH3COO) 2. H2O.

If alcohol is added to a saturated calcium acetate solution, it will generate a semi solid, flammable colloid, much like canned fuel products such as Sterno. California Snowball is actually a mixture of calcium acetate and ethanol. The resulting colloidal color is white and piles up like snowballs.

Application

Chelating agent, mildew-retarding agent, stabilizer, buffer agent, fumette, PH value regulator, preservative;Calcium acetate in the food industry has served as a mold suppression agent stabilizer,buffer and increasing the use of scent, which itself has excellent calcium, which also can be used for medicine, chemical reagent.
