Description:

Sodium pyrophosphate is a white powder that is soluble in water but insoluble in alcohol. It has a relative density of 2.45 and a melting point of 890 ℃. The aqueous solution is weakly alkaline and easily deliquests in air. The aqueous solution is relatively stable at 70 ℃, and when boiled, it hydrolyzes into disodium hydrogen phosphate.
